Gymnopilus suberis
This mushroom seems to have just grown, judging by its short size and its hood not yet open.
This mushroom has a cream colored stem and a dark orange hood, it can still grow taller and the hood will open. There is also a cavity in the lower hood. I found it growing on dead and rotting wood.
