Breathe fresh air from the remote village
In the remote village. The natural atmosphere is still very much felt. I clearly smell the aroma of green leaves, the color is soothing to the eye, and the wind blows slowly from between the trees that grow in rows along the village's main road. The most remote village that directly borders the forest.
The majority of the villagers are farmers, where their days are busy with farming and gardening activities. The rubber gardens are also one of the mainstays of their economy, although they say the price of rubber is very low.
However, that is not the discussion, even though they live side by side with the forest, the village community still respects the customary rules where the forest may not be damaged on the grounds of finding other alternatives for their economy when the prices of agricultural products skyrocket.
Most of the area of their village is rice fields where they plant rice every year, two to three harvests a year. Their rice fields are irrigated by natural waters without human intervention, such as dams or flowing them in other ways, water sources that flow naturally directly from the forest through small rivers formed by nature itself.
Some parts of the rice fields, the rice is almost ready to be harvested and some parts have just been planted, for the residents here they are always busy with agricultural activities every day.
Although economic income sometimes decreases, they always have a source of staple food. Rice, and even vegetable gardens they also work on all year round.
Life in the village is indeed full of peace, food sources are easy for them to obtain from the vastness of their agricultural land, some residents do not choose a luxurious life, they prefer a life of sufficiency, peace and friendliness with nature.
