What a fine reflection, and it makes a lot of sense to me—and I suppose to those who don’t live on autopilot. There’s also a principle I always keep in sight: enjoying what I do. I doubt that those who rely on AI to churn out products in series are truly enjoying themselves or genuinely creating. They’re the modern robots, so to speak.

Autopilot feels safe.
The human brain basically pushes us into it because it avoids risk, it keeps us doing what we already know.
And that’s the scary part, if you stay on autopilot too long, you just stop growing.
You’re totally right about enjoying what you do though. And with AI, it really depends how you use it. If it’s helping you bring your ideas to life, why not?
I generate a lot of code with AI for my projects. But the ideas? Those still come straight out of my brain
