Good evening, everyone.

When I got back home from school, I was very hungry and I looked for some snacks in the fridge. I saw my mom bought some sticky rice cakes like biko, sticky rice on stick and palitaw. I asked if I could eat some and mom said, she bought them for me.

I started tasting the sticky rice on stick. My mom said it's called tinudok in Ilokano. I love it. It's crunchy and a little chewy and sweet. It is shaped in round and I think they fried it with brown sugar on top. I finished the 3 sticks. One stick has 3 pieces on it. Then I tried the biko. There were 2 pieces, one for me and one for my mom. This is also my favorite. It is steamed sticky rice with coconut milk, butter and sugar. I see biko every ocassion or parties here in the Philippines. The last one is the palitaw. This is the white sticky rice with shredded coconut and white sugar on it. I think this is steamed also. Do you like sticky rice cakes like I do?

I also like to eat those, especially when my grandmother cooks Biko. My grandmother cooks biko here for us every time. And after reading your blog, I still want to eat Biko tomorrow, even though we just ate like that the other day.

By the way, wow! I was surprised at your age. I didn't really think that there were already young ones in the hive. You write very well, too! 🫶

Halla grabe din si momshie haha ang saya naman at nagsusulat ang baby mo dito ❤️ nagulat ako sa edad sis. Napabilang tuloy ako if anong year siya non at ilang taon ako nong taon na yan. I feel so old na. 🤧

hehe nakikita nya kasi ako nagsusulat since baby pa sya. nagstart sya last year, sis. 9 pa lang sya nun. sya mismo may gusto mag sign up. kinarir naman nya lol. nasa skul sya now.

I have never seen the sticky rice on a stick around here. But I want to try that sticky rice with coconut milk; that must be nice.
