Good morning, everyone.

Today is a holiday with no classes, and I have another day to rest. I just woke up, and I heard lots of vendors on wheels passing our house. I heard fish vendors, meat vendors, taho vendors, ice cream vendors, bente bente vendors, appliance repair on wheels, junk buyers on wheels, puto on wheels, pandesal, and binatog.

What I am going to share today is the binatog. My mom bought this the other day, before it started raining. This vendor always stops at our neighbors houses because they always buy it. Then my mom wanted to try it too, so she called the vendor and bought two cups. One for her and one for me. It costs 20 pesos for the small cup and 30 pesos for the medium cup.

This is a Filipino dessert made of boiled corn without taste. It is white corn added with grated coconut, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and sugar. The vendor will ask if you like sugar on it or just milk. My mom wanted a bit of sugar, so that's what she ordered. It is served hot, but you can also eat it cold if you want. The taste is okay for me. I just don't like milk, but mom loves it. She loves milk on it. I like sugar better. I don't know how they prepare it before selling it, but here are the pictures when it is served. Have you tasted binatog yet?
