Good evening, everyone.

I am back posting. I was offline for a few weeks because I was so busy with my studies. We had lots of exams and activities in school and my dad came back home for a week of vacation because he had business to do. He just left for the US yesterday and I can visit online for a few minutes.

A few days before my dad goes back to the US, we went for a walk as a family somewhere in the other town and visited two hanging bridges. These are located in San Gabriel, La Union. It takes 30 minutes to get there. We hired a trike because it's a little bit far and the road is a little bit tricky.

We went there early in the afternoon, just after lunch time. We first stopped at the longer, more solid bridge that is made of steel. The bridge is used by the locals there to go to the other side of the mountain. There is a river below it with huge rocks and it really looks scary. When we started walking, the bridge started to swing. It scared me a little bit at first, but my dad helped me overcome my fears. We walked back and forth and after that, we went to the other hanging bridge, just a few meters away. This one is smaller, narrower, and kind of old. The steel was breaking and when we walked, we could hear the steel cracking. My mom and dad got a little nervous. I got worried because I did not want my phone to fall into the river.

After that, we walked around along the road, taking photos of the trees and mountains and my dad even took videos of the piggeries of the houses in the neighborhood. It was a fun walk. At first, I got scared, but as we walked along, I started loving it. We also found a barbeque stall, but I did not take photos because I was craving it and started grilling a few pieces.

It was a great day with my mom and dad and I hope we can visit again when he gets back for a vacation in a few months.

Thank you everyone and happy Wednesday to all. Thank you for reading.

Xoxo,

This must be a good time to bond and relax before your dad will fo back to the USA. If only we have hanging bridge near our place, I might be strolling and crossing it more often.😊

Wow, hanging bridges bring back a lot of fond memories for me. I hope I'll still be able to cross them again someday. It's great to explore places with family. These moments I think are priceless. Thank you for sharing them. Happy midweek!

It was swinging. I was only scared at first, but I was not scared anymore when I walked with my dad.

It's lovely spending time with family. I like the exhilarating initial fright at trying out new adventurous moves and then settling in. It is even more beautiful to get over the fright with those you love. It must be fun. Beautiful pictures🤩✨
