TBT: Mi niño azul ESP/ENG

Saludos, amigos de #TopFamily. De nuevo por aquí para compartir en su Concurso TBT que no me quiero perder.

La foto que hoy les comparto es muy importante para mí. Fue el primer día de escuela para mi niño. Desde los 2 añitos él presenta conductas de autismo, pero no fue sino un poco después que logré ponerlo en control debidamente, con su médico y terapeuta.

Desde que lo vi con los especialistas adecuados, comencé a estar más atenta de su dieta, libre de gluten, azúcares y caseína. Seguir una dieta rigurosa y ciertos tipos de alimentos es esencial para mejorar su conducta y a su vez logre adaptarse mejor a su entorno.

Es difícil, pero suelo ser estricta con su dieta, sin embargo como todo niño, de vez en cuando y por descuido, come algo que no debe y su ánimo cambia del cielo a la tierra. Pasa de estar tranquilo y atento a llorar, gritar, ponerse de muy mal humor y correr de aquí para allá.

En esos momentos sólo me queda tenerle paciencia y esperar a que se le pase el efecto de lo que comió. Del resto mi niño se porta de maravilla. De hecho el día que tomé esta foto y se lo dejaba a la maestra, ella me aconsejó que lo buscara una hora antes de que los otros niños salieran para darle tiempo a mi hijo que se adapte a su nuevo colegio.

Bueno, así fue que hice, me presenté una hora antes de la salida de todos y para mi sorpresa la maestra estaba encantada con mi hijo, me dijo que se la pasó todo el día siguiendo órdenes, se portó educadamente, hizo amigos y atendió a las clases en todo momento, también intervino cuando hacía preguntas y se portó excelente.

Escuchar sus palabras me hizo sentir orgullosa y tranquila de que lo que estoy haciendo con él, todo este esfuerzo que le pongo para que cumpla su dieta y sus terapias, es algo que vale la pena y se que él me lo agradecerá más adelante. Se adaptó tan bien a su escuela que se adelantó en su clase. ¡Hasta aquí mi post, hasta la próxima!

The photo I'm sharing with you today is very important to me. It was my son's first day of school. He's exhibited autistic behaviors since he was 2 years old, but it wasn't until shortly afterward that I was able to properly manage him with his doctor and therapist.

Since I saw him with the right specialists, I began to pay more attention to his diet, free of gluten, sugar, and casein. Following a strict diet and certain types of foods is essential to improve his behavior and, in turn, help him adapt better to his environment.

It's difficult, but I tend to be strict with his diet. However, like any child, from time to time, he inadvertently eats something he shouldn't, and his mood swings from heaven to earth. He goes from being calm and attentive to crying, screaming, becoming very moody, and running around.

In those moments, all I can do is be patient and wait for the effects of what he ate to wear off. Otherwise, my boy behaves wonderfully. In fact, the day I took this photo and was leaving him with the teacher, she advised me to pick him up an hour before the other children left to give my son time to adjust to his new school.

Well, that's what I did. I showed up an hour before everyone else's dismissal, and to my surprise, the teacher was delighted with my son. She told me he spent the entire day following orders, behaving politely, making friends, and paying attention to class at all times. She also intervened when I asked questions and behaved excellently.

Hearing her words made me feel proud and reassured that what I'm doing with him—all this effort I'm putting into helping him adhere to his diet and therapies—is worth it, and I know he'll thank me later. He adapted so well to his school that he even jumped ahead in his class. That's all for my post, until next time!
