Mi Opinión: Until Dawn ESP/ENG

Saludos gente amante del cine de esta comunidad. Este es mi primer post con ustedes y quise traerles mi opinión sobre un film que vi hace poco. Se llama Until Down.

Greetings, film-loving people of this community. This is my first post with you, and I wanted to share my opinion on a film I saw recently. It's called Until Down.

La verdad es que no soy muy fan de este tipo de películas, pero tuve algo de tiempo libre y la vi interesante así que decidí darle una oportunidad. Es una película de ciencia ficción con toques de terror. Me parece que hicieron un buen trabajo.

I'm not really a fan of this type of film, but I had some free time and found it interesting, so I decided to give it a try. It's a sci-fi film with a touch of horror. I think they did a good job.

La película cuenta la historia de 5 amigos que realizan un viaje para rendirle honor o hacerle una especie de homenaje a la hermana desaparecida de uno de los protagonista. A la chica la dan por muerta por el tiempo que tienen sin saber de ella.

The film tells the story of five friends who set out on a journey to honor, or pay homage to, the missing sister of one of the protagonists. The girl is presumed dead due to the length of time they haven't heard from her.

En este viaje llegan a una especie de pueblo donde empiezan a ocurrir cosas extrañas y se repiten tras transcurrir cierto tiempo. Esto me recordó al estilo de la película de Silent Hill, donde aparecen criaturas y mounstros extraños.

On this journey, they arrive at a sort of town where strange things begin to happen, and they continue after a certain amount of time. This reminded me of the style of the Silent Hill movie, where strange creatures and monsters appear.

Al principio creí que eran humanos, pero conformen pasaban las escenas, salen otras cosas que no lo son. Entonces luego de verla podría decir que esta película tuvo potencial por la trama que quisieron crear, aunque también se puede concebir como una mezcla de varias tramas de películas de este género.

At first, I thought they were human, but as the scenes progressed, other things appeared that weren't. So after watching it, I could say that this film had potential because of the plot they tried to create, although it could also be seen as a combination of several plots from films of this genre.

Entre ellas Silent Hill, Pesadilla en la calle Elm, Las Brujas de Blair, American Horror Story o Haunt (la Casa del Terror). Films donde no sabes quién es el asesino ni tampoco lo que es. Y aunque se crea que la película es predecible, al final no lo fue, fue totalmente diferente y supieron hacerla.

Among them are Silent Hill, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Blair Witches, American Horror Story, and Haunt. Films where you don't know who the killer is or what they are. And although you might think the film is predictable, in the end it wasn't. It was completely different, and they knew how to make it.

Las actuaciones también estuvieron muy buenas para ser actores que no conozco. Desde el inicio de la historia te hacen agarrarle cariño a los personajes y te entristece cuando le pasa algo malo a alguno de ellos. Si tuviera que calificarla le doy un 7/10 y definitivamente la volvería a ver. ¿Ustedes la vieron? Coméntamelo, te estaré leyendo!

The acting was also very good for actors I'm not familiar with. From the beginning, they make you grow fond of the characters and make you sad when something bad happens to one of them. If I had to rate it, I'd give it a 7/10 and I would definitely watch it again. Have you seen it? Let me know, I'll be reading!
