Quiero empezar con la pieza que los hizo famosos: «Aún paso por tu casa». Una pieza de 1985 que sirvió de tema para una telenovela. Recuerdo que no había fiesta donde no la pusieran y la gente la cantaba fuerte, con sentimiento.

Mientras escucho esta canción, no puedo evitar recordar que en los años 80 había un programa de música romántica en la radio en el que la gente llamaba para complacer a otras personas y dedicarles canciones. En muchas ocasiones me complacieron, pero también dediqué varias melodías.

Y la última canción es Será, otra pieza romántica, al mejor estilo de la balada pop, un género musical que se llegó para ser eterno. Aprendí esta pieza gracias a que todas las tardes me sentaba frente a la radio y transcribía, como un dictado, las canciones que más me gustaban.

Aunque este dúo tuvo mucha fama y aceptación a nivel nacional, se separaron muy pronto. Luego cada uno hizo una carrera musical en solitario y adivinen qué: no tuvieron éxito. Eso pasa. Esperemos que pronto informen que hay un "reencuentro" como hacen otros grupos musicales.

In the 80's, when Sin Banderas did not yet exist, and the music industry was betting on musical groups, to see two talented young singers and composers jump into the musical limelight became a phenomenon.
Their songs, between pop and ballad, that speak of love and heartbreak, were chanted by the young and not so young. Many of these songs are still listened to and make us travel back to that time when our only problem was not to step on the lines of the sidewalks. Let's enjoy these pieces:
