RE: In Search Of

Writing can be a thankless activity. Many of the great writers died before their works were read and appreciated. That is to say, I feel that there is a lot of myself in what you say. There are days when I feel mentally and emotionally stuck. I try to fall in love with the things I do, but that impulse is short-lived. I also forget that, just as footprints are hidden in the sand on the beach, there are premises within me that I just need to remember. Is there something wintery in your text? A hug, my friend.

Writing certainly can be thankless sometimes, other times it can be the most rewarding thing imaginable. It sounds as if these feelings are shared amongst many. It can be comforting to know others feel the same. I guess we just need to be patient and push through those thankless phases. Winter might have something to do with this feeling but spring isn't far away! Hugs to you my friend and thank you!
