Memoir Monday: A world for my nephews and nieces
A world for my nephews and nieces
Neville Goddard said, more or less, that imagination is a God that we carry inside us. Imagination has the power to create our reality. I want to imagine that the world my nephews and nieces will live in will be better than this one. I want to think that there will be no wars, that countries will have no borders, no armies, that all the money invested in armaments will be invested in laboratories and platforms for studies and research. That peace, more than an agreement, will be the result of the spiritual greatness that men will experience and reach from a certain moment on.
All human beings will have a place to live, whether here on earth or on other planets. In the future it will not only be possible to do tourism on Tuesday or on the moon, there will also be perfectly habitable planets that will be the solution for the growth of the population. I do not only imagine big, luxurious skyscrapers made of different materials; I also imagine small and comfortable equipped capsules, aerial or terrestrial, that will serve as a dwelling for any living being ...
Teleportation will be a fact and will be the perfect key to shorten the distance. Going from one place to another, meeting someone, will be as easy as the blink of an eye or the push of a button. Using vehicles may be an option, but because of the savings of our resources, especially time, people will prefer this means of transportation.
Through cloning, organ banks will be created all over the world. Although it is foreseen that the human life span will increase in quantity and quality, human beings will have the possibility of transplanting new organs if necessary. Organs created especially for each human being, since from the moment they are born, all people will have a worldwide C.I., a universal registry, where all their data are stored (blood type, hereditary traits, congenital anomalies, etc.), which will help to anticipate their illnesses and guarantee their cure. And diseases such as cancer will have been eradicated and other diseases will have been controlled.
One of the best things and one that makes me very happy to imagine is that artificial intelligence will bring back our deceased loved ones. With certain information provided, we will be able to see, hug, talk to people who have already died. It will be such a real, vivid, sensory experience that death will no longer be an obstacle to never seeing our loved ones again.
I want to imagine that 30 years from now, cryptocurrencies rather than affecting the economy, have been a tool for the economic progress of all societies in the world: there is no more money laundering, there is no more corruption, there is more investment and people have more financial freedom.
Finally, I want to believe that we have adopted new scales of ethical and moral values, that we have stopped the excessive use of water, the deforestation of forests and global warming. Human beings have learned that power is in their thoughts, that their welfare depends on their thoughts, that is why they are not only concerned about what they eat, but also about what they hear, what they see, what they say. I imagine that although it is not a perfect world, it is on the way to being one...

I'm totally on board with your vision of the future, Nancy! I really hope more people begin to imagine this kind of future instead of going down the dark path, as so many are.
"Imagination is a God that we carry inside us." how profound that is. Paramahansa Yogananda, an Indian Yogi, said God is like the ocean and every human is like a wave cresting in that ocean. I do believe that creativity, that inner voice that never steers us wrong, and the peace we sometimes feel inside is, indeed, proof of a Higher Power.
We all must take the high road, the optimistic path, to avoid the dystopian future that we're careening towards. If enough of us change our way of thinking I believe humanity as a whole will achieve "escape velocity" and break free of this toxic pattern we've been stuck in for so long.
Thanks for your contribution! I really enjoyed it.
I guess I'm not going to tell you something new, but you have a gift for making people see and dwell on the good things in the world. Thank you for that. Sometimes it's easier to see the bad than the good, strangely enough. I have always believed that our imagination is limitless and the one that can save us at any time. Someone said that if you can imagine it, you can do it. So let's develop and cultivate that god that helps us create new things. A hug and thanks for the opportunity
