Renewable energies

I come from a hard-working family, where mom and dad worked to get us ahead, where there was never a lack of love, where always, thanks to God and my parents' efforts, there was money for food, clothes and also for fun.

Even though we never had luxuries, we had everything we needed! And even though my parents worked 5 days a week, they always taught us that you don't live to work, you work to live better. Work is necessary, but so is rest. A balance must always be sought...

Because of my job, I am a teacher and I work with young people, I can have days in which the same work generates three thousand kilowatts of energy, but I can also have exhausting weeks, where I feel that I carry the weight of the world on my back, and I lose energy as easily as if I were an unloaded doll.

What do I do to replenish my energy without having a big budget?

In principle, sleep. It has been proven that human beings need sleep. To sleep soundly, without any shocks, without earrings, without alarms. If I have to get up early from Monday to Friday because of my job, I take sleeping late on Saturdays and Sundays very seriously. Sleep rejuvenates me and recharges my batteries.

Another way is to go out with my friends or family, take a walk, have a coffee, a beer. Going out without a plan, at any time, is de-stressing for me. The fact of not thinking about work, enjoying the present, being with people I love, recharges me immediately.

I am one of those people who believe in laughter therapy. I like to read, watch and listen to anything that makes me laugh. I am one of those who loves to watch a comedy, and laugh as if I had never seen that movie. I entertain myself watching funny videos and I laugh until my belly hurts and my chest fills with a peace as if my soul did not weigh 21 grams.

While it's true that I love being in the house like a homeless person, in my pajamas and barefoot, dressing up in a special way transforms me. Getting into heeled sandals, putting on makeup, getting dressed up, cheers me up. Just as superheroes change just by changing their clothes, so am I: I am capable of conquering the world if I get dressed up.

Since I live near the sea, going to the beach and taking a dip may be one of the most energizing things in the world for me.Being down there, in the sea, listening to the silence, feeling the water on your body, moving like a fish, leaving all your troubles on the shore, is an energizing experience.

And finally, to do new things. The adrenaline I get from starting a new project, cooking something I have never done before, generates so much energy in me that I could light up a whole city, but I am content with the light it produces inside me, which is enough and sufficient.

In short, the sun, the sea, friends and laughter are inexhaustible sources of energy and they are free. We just have to know what things make us vibrate and consume them in large doses.

Sleep is one very important gift I appreciate from our creator. I definitely can't imagine working 24hrs round the clock without sleep. It's a natural way of rejuvenating ourselves and system.

I can relate to being a teacher, there are days when the job feels very exhausting. I admire your recharge style because they are all simple. Sleeping is crushing and the beach is a perfect place as nature absorbs that exhaustion replacing it with strength...
