If No One Can Curse What the God Has Blessed | Then Why Are So Many Living a Cursed Life? | I Think I Get It Now
The Verse And The Saying
It is a verse I have known for some time, and hence a bit unclear how it works. First, let’s see the verse.
Numbers: Chapter 23 – Verse 8
How can I curse
those whom God has not cursed?
How can I denounce
those whom the Lord has not denounced?
The understanding is that no one, not human, not demon, not an evil spirit, can curse the one whom God has blessed. So, a blessed person can't be taken away by the forces of evil.
But is this what we see in the world today? Aren’t all of us blessed? Then, how come many of us are living a less-than-blessed life? There is something missing in our understanding, right?
The Understanding | The Missing Piece
I was listening to one of the Biblical speakers on YouTube and stumbled upon one of her videos where she explains this exact dilemma. You see, God thought and spoke things into being. If we read the Bible, we understand that God said “Let there be light” and there was light, and then He created all the living-verse (or universe) as we see today. The key here is “speaking” into reality.
If we are built in God’s image, then we too have the power to speak things into reality. The only problem is that we do not understand, believe, or practice this truth. However, it is true, and we will see it in a moment. The only thing other than God that believes in this power of ours is the devil.
The devil can see what our thoughts and words are capable of. It also knows that it can’t touch God’s creation, because God’s creation has been blessed by the Creator. But what if the evil one uses the creation’s power to curse itself? Ah, that’s kind of starting to make sense.
So, the sequence goes something like this:
- We are blessed by God
- So, we can’t be cursed by the evil one
- However, God has given us free will
- We used this free will to go away from God
- This free will can also be manipulated by the evil one
- The evil one manipulates the creation into believing it is living a less-than-blessed life
- The creation curses its situation, circumstances, and itself
- God’s blessing is turned to a curse by the free will and speech of the creation
- Mission accomplished for the evil one
Not very difficult to see it now, right? This gives me a sense of what is going wrong. It happened in my life too, and I am doubly sure this has to be true.
Getting Us to Harm Ourselves | The Evil Ploy
All of us, at some point, have come across people who seem to be beyond believable levels of confidence. They say they are going to achieve something and achieve it. It seems like God has given a blessing more than us commoners. We envy that kind of confidence and the person. And here’s where we start to go wrong.
The person who says he will achieve something and achieves it is no different from the person who says he cannot achieve anything and ends up not achieving anything. Do you see the similarity? Sadly, many are not able to see it. Whatever we speak (remember, God spoke creation into reality) to ourselves, loud or in our mind, is us, blessing or cursing ourselves. The sooner we get this truth, the sooner we put God’s power to good use.
However, the evil one seems to have gotten to many already. First, we distanced ourselves from God and opened the door to the evil one. The evil one went on with the manipulation. The silent whispers telling us that “we are not worthy”, “we are enough”, “we are unlucky”, “we are dumb” are the ones that feed our subconscious with wrong ideas about ourselves, and eventually, we regurgitate the same thing ourselves. With many going through the same experience, now there is a society that believes that it is worth nothing. They even exchange notes on who is more miserable and useless. Then it becomes a reality so strong that we don’t believe we can escape it; least so, by just thinking and speaking the opposite way. Then we start blaming everybody, starting with God, the society, the government, and the list continues.
And finally, the evil one gets its way.
Reality is Just What We Speak Continuously | Change the Talk | Change the Reality
It is as simple as that. Just speak a new reality into fruition. God’s blessing is a force that will make it happen faster than you think. In the beginning, it may seem tough. After all, not only the erstwhile speaking but also the conditioning would have made us believe in the lies. But stay put. God’s blessing cannot be undone so easily.
If I get it, I am sure you get it too. Once you understand this power, you will know God’s been kind all along. All that we have to do is align with God’s blessing and live a blessed life!
