Ponta do pargo - lighthouse

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well 😊 I came to Madeira for a few days. It is the second time he has visited Madeira. I was so enchanted by the beauty of Madeira that I had to go back 😊 Today I'll show you a little and talk a little about my favorite place on this wonderful island 😊

I came to the lighthouse, which is where you have the most beautiful view. I don't even have words to describe the beauty of this landscape.

We were very lucky that the weather was wonderful, I didn't get foggy or cold, I could see everything in detail 😊

the lighthouse is located at the western end of the island, from the viewpoint you can see the atlantic ocean. This place deserves a lot of attention.

This viewpoint is 290 meters high, allowing you to view the surrounding coastal area.

The spot where the Ponta do Pargo lighthouse viewpoint is located is marked by the presence of a historic lighthouse. This infrastructure, which dominates the top of the cliff, started operating in 1922. The lighthouse is 14 meters high. It was classified by the regional government as heritage of local value

It is a pity that there are no guided tours of the entire lighthouse, especially the tower. It opens once a year to the public and what is presented is a mini exhibition. They should review this situation so they could better explore this lighthouse.

It has space to park the car, a super calm environment
The tallest lighthouse on the Portuguese coast, due to the fact that it is located on top of a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It serves to guide the maritime traffic that circulates to the west of Madeira.

I highly recommend visiting this viewpoint and not only highly recommend visiting the island of Madeira. One of the most beautiful islands I've ever seen
