This little bee was quite busy, I watched it for several minutes diligently moving from flower to flower looking for a bounty of pollen to collect. I waited in one spot on a specific set of flowers to see if it would eventually come over and it wasn't long before I was rewarded. It helped that I was already in a good position to get within a few inches of the bee as it did its work. It did take several shots to get a few really sharp ones like these were. I was using a Nikon D750 and a Nikkor 60mm macro lens which does allow about as close focusing as you can get on a standard macro.
