Weekend Engagement #168 | The day I felt more alive
Greetings dear friends of the community, I hope you are having a great day. I am quite happy to find myself once again participating in the Weekend Engagement and I decided to tell you about the day I felt most alive, passionate and fulfilled, let's get started.

To put a little in context why this was one of the moments in which I felt more alive, I must tell you that I have been listening to rap since I was 5 years old, this because of my brother who always listened to music and when I spent a lot of time with him I ended up being influenced by the same artists as him, the difference was that he was more varied to different musical genres, instead I once I heard rap I fell in love and since then it is the genre I enjoy listening to today and surely will continue to be so in the future.
When I was 11 or 12 years old I was already writing my own songs, clearly they were no big deal because I only tried to rhyme in the best possible way and surely many of the songs would not make any sense, but I was very excited to one day record in a professional studio, I was very clear that this would be what I wanted the most because somehow it was a sign that I was really achieving what I wanted since I was very young and that opportunity came about 5 or 6 years later.

After starting college and with some effort, I managed to raise a considerable amount of money for someone my age at that time, so I got down to work and found a studio quite far from where I lived, I contacted the producer and within days of that I was already in his studio recording, Arriving at a professional studio and seeing all the equipment he had for the realization of the album I was preparing was one of the happiest moments of my life, for the fact of doing something I had dreamed of for so long and thanks to the effort of looking for it, it ended up being fulfilled and it is still one of the things I remember fondly of that time.

An anecdote that stayed with me from that moment is that the producer charged a certain price (say 20$) per hours of recording or you could pay for a complete project and no matter how long it took the price was the same (say 100$) and I was so sure that in 2 hours I could perfectly record all the songs and indeed, I paid only 2 hours and in an hour and something I had already recorded more than 8 songs perfectly, now I just needed to go through the production process, something that I didn't know that it also counted as hours of work that I also had to pay (I know, it was very innocent of me to think that) and there were several hours more to produce each one of the songs, at the end I ended up paying about 160$, when if I had decided to pay for a complete project I would have paid much less, but what can I say, I thought that my plan of hours would be more than enough, but well, in spite of that I really enjoyed every second while I was in the studio. By the way, the prices I say are just an example, I don't really remember how much I spent at the time, but I wanted to illustrate it that way to make it better understood.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read me, I hope it was quite entertaining, see you next time!

Lograr una meta, hacer un sueño realidad, materializar algo por lo que se ha luchado es algo sentirse vivo, feliz, orgulloso, te felicito porque algunos lo hubieran dejado solo como un sueño, tú luchaste para hacerlo realidad.
