Walk around the Reservoir

That afternoon I walked around Lhokseumawe city. The city of Lhokseumawe is not a big city located in Aceh, the island of Sumatra. The city of Lhokseumawe has a reservoir that has two functions besides storing water, currently the city reservoir of Lhokseumawe has become one of the tourist destinations. Me and some friends who also live in the city of Lhokseumawe agreed to take an afternoon walk by the reservoir. But this time I didn't focus on the photo of the reservoir, but the activities and people there.

The area of Lhokseumawe city reservoir is around 60 hectares in area. Initially, this reservoir was used as a water reservoir, but later the streets by the reservoir became more and more crowded with visitors. Most visitors come to exercise in the afternoon. Running meraton on the edge of Lhokseumawe city reservoir has finally become a trend for young people, adults and even children. The sight of people exercising becomes a separate entertainment for visitors who are just relaxing.

In another corner, people started to come to sell. Some were selling grilled corn, grilled meatballs and some other snacks. I and some friends chose to sit on the rocks that break the waves, on the edge of the beach. Actually across the road opposite the reservoir is the sea, and the mouth of the Cunda river. There I observed some boats passing by.

Not too far out to sea there is a. From my knowledge the sandbar is uninhabited, there are only a few trees greening the land of the cluster. Incidentally that afternoon the sky was very bright, its blue color was still obvious. When the sky started to darken I still held on. Many people were also still holding on enjoying the sunset.
