Weekend indulgences

The last 5 days have been crazy on food fiesta for me. We had a long weekend and with that there were so many plans made by me and my friends. We had some house parties as well as meal outings. Today morning my weighing scale has shot up as well and that kind of scares me. I am a person, who is in constant check of my weight and even 500 grams increase puts me in tension, and today it is 1 kg extra. I believe that if weight is not kept in check then it can get out of hand and then it would be extremely difficult to reverse back.

Festival and holiday times are such that we get carried away in the moment, but after it all gets over, the after effects can be very bothering. So this whole week I am going to follow one meal a day plan, with very low carbs, no eating outside food, only home food and as much as possible stay light.

Yesterday, we had planned to try out a new restaurant opened in town, it is Rajasthani cuisine, which is from the northern part of India. Their food is very delicious, but sadly it was not a very good experience, the wait time was almost an hour before we were served the food and the food was also nothing great. So it was quiet a disappointment, but the night dinner covered up. One of our friend had invited us home for dinner, and the couple both of them are amazing cooks, so that kind of made up for the afternoon disaster but in turn I ended up over eating.

Even the day before I was out with my friends and we had a hearty meal. The food fiesta started from Wednesday evening itself so one can imagine how much of food overload I must have had. My friends love to indulge in food and as much as I want to stay away from it, I get pulled in it.

That's ok, I will work out on this extra weight and get back to my normal weight. With all of this, I can say that I had a wonderful time in the last 4 days, besides the overdose of food it was also overdose of fun. One of the days we also went bowling. We had hearty laughs and great bonding time with one another. I savor these moments of my life spent with my friends in happiness.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Hahaha you really had enough food, yes festive season is unavailable when it comes to food but glad you know how to get rid of them from your body after all the eatings 😆

The weight will sort itself out, but those laughs and memories with friends are priceless. I'm happy for you, you enjoyed the long weekend, even with the food overload
