Visiting the Night Bazaar
After being in bed for the last few days and taking good rest to recover completely, finally yesterday I was feeling better and energetic again, so I decided to step out. This weekend we have the Night Bazaar that's taking place and also the Muscat Eats food festival. Last evening we visited the Night Bazaar, it was closer to my home and a smaller event, though I was feeling better, I did not want to exert much. Today I plan to visit the food fest as I have heard that it's nice and lot of things happening there.
The Night Bazaar event is on a very small scale, there were not many vendors and not much of crowd also. I guess most of the public had their attention on the food fest. Also Night Bazaar has been happening very regularly, while the Food Fest is just for this weekend.

In all these events one thing is good, that there is a play area for children. Parents can leave the children there and then do their shopping. There are people to supervise the children, so parents can be at ease.

All these are home businesses and most of them do not have any shops of their own, but thanx to markets like these and also social media these days that gives them a window to promote their products.

Most of the times in these markets we see same things, but here in this one there were few unique items also being sold. Like these ladies mini bags made of different beads. They were very pretty and unique

I bought a dress for myself from here, similar to the first piece that is hanging but in black color. I liked it at first look.

This section appealed me a lot. Wooden furniture, they are kept as much as possible in their raw form.
It was a nice evening after the few days of being in bed. Felt fresh and energetic and back to life again.

What a great event - the night Bazaar. I am sure you enjoyed the outing. The children's play area is a nice idea so that parents could have little time to enjoy too. I like those beautifully crafted bags, the designs are great. What an occassion, and am sure you felt happy afterwards.

That bazaar really looks very varied and eye-catching. The doll clothes stand is super creative, I've never seen such an undertaking. It reminded me of when my mom used to make clothes for my dolls.

Yes, it also reminds me of my childhood times, my aunt had a stitching business, which was so common in those times. I enjoyed watching her do that activity and learned quite a bit from her, but then could never pursue it.
Nice variety of items on display, Hand made crafts look appealing to me and it's always a delight to support home businesses. Glad you did take a walk through the area and you feel fresh and energetic again :)
I always prefer to go with these handmade items, though sometimes I also find them overly priced. My take is always value for money, so if I find it worth I do not hesitate.
It a good thing to feel the things of life that nature brings to us..I'm happy to read your post that you feel strong and back to life.. you got nice pictures 📸.. I like them. I wish I could visit the place and see other people's cultures and how the operate in their own way.

Bazaar is a great word, in Russian we have it too "bazar";)

Most of these are handmade things and some of them I really love. These days even the Reisin art things are gaining lot of popularity and I love those products, thought they were not there in this market
The new dress, I came home and tried and it turned out to be very loose fitting, now I need to wait till I go to Mumbai and get it altered over there
