Last weekend I mentioned we had visited the Shangri La resort for a weekend overnight stay. The resort has many leisure amenities but the best one is the lazy river, which I enjoyed the most. It was a sunny day, there are palm tress running all across the river which gives a nice shade and it feels pleasant. I was in there for almost 2 hours and still did not feel like getting out of the river. I was just going round and round the river and enjoying myself.

Later on some of my friends also joined and then we had some real good fun, we were bumping into each other and splashing water, it felt like we had become kids again. It has been a long time I had some fun like this, normally nowadays it is house parties, or excursions to the mountains, which are also fun but still not as much as this.

This picture hubby clicked from the room balcony. He joined me later, he wanted to take a nap, and I was too excited, could not wait, so I proceeded.

At one point all of us came together and holding each other's floats we formed a chain and moved through the river.

These 2 days were complete playfulness, it was like nothing else existed in the world, we were so much in the moment. It was also a day outing after a very long time, so everyone was super excited and a lot of madness happened. I am sure the kids around must have wondered what we were up to.
