There is a new store opened in the town which has collection of all Antique furniture. I wanted to check out on a small side table so thought of giving a look, if I could find something as per my requirement. I had no intention of buying a new one, but one of my old ones broke and it's no way that I can fix it up. Though I was not sure I would buy or not but no harm in giving a look.

The store that I visited had a very good collection of wooden furniture, some of it genuinely antique and some created to give the old look. It looked very colorful from the outside, the store is big and lot of variety, but price wise they were sky rocketing, so I only had a look and returned back without buying anything.

The entrance of the store itself was very fancy, with all wooden panels carved in traditional designs. No doubt it's priced so heavily and also the wood is very good, it's mostly Rose and Teak wood, which makes it so expensive.

Doors, typically from the old houses. No one makes these kind of doors now but probably for show purpose it is nice.

Finally I get to see what I was looking for. It's not a side table, it's a center table, but I loved it. When I looked at the price, I felt disappointed. It was 150 Rials, which is almost 400$. If this would had been my permanent home, probably I would have thought of it, but no way I would consider to buy in a temporary home.

This one, I somewhat have mixed feelings. I kind of like it but may not want to see it all the time.

This is a fancy wooden show piece in a shape of a ball. I wonder who would buy such things. It did not look at all attractive to me, there were couple of them, so I guess there must be some demand to it.

It's a metal Fish. Normally considered a Fengshui item, to keep at the main entrance to attract prosperity in the house.

A very fancy and a unique console table

I did not buy anything but I still enjoyed visiting the place and seeing some new things. I also like to take ideas, since I am making my new home, they will be useful in setting up my space.
