🙌🏽🌻Sublime Sunday🙌🏽💖 by @c0ff33a - A look at my garden
Sharing some updates of my garden today, it has been some months that I have been growing couple of things in my garden, some of the veggies are seasonal and the season is almost coming to an end now. The fruit trees are planted around 4 months back so they will take some time to grow fully and start giving fruits, but there is progress so it does feel good. In this season we had several veggies growing in the garden like tomatoes, brinjal, capsicum, chilies, coriander, turnips, flat beans, lady fingers, bitter gourd. Brocolis grew in abundance and then there were a few more. It was so delightful to get everything from the garden and use up for cooking. I did share some updates on these.
Once the monsoon sets in June then there will be no more veggies growing for the next 4 months. That's ok, each season has it's own benefits, in the monsoon I will have beautiful views around of the waterfalls from the opposite hills and mountains and the whole landscape will become lush green. Let me show you the growth of my plants right now to what I had planted 5 months back.
I have planted 2 Papaya trees and both of them are growing strong and sturdy. They have gained a height of 3 feet now.
This is when they were just planted. You can see how well they are growing.
That's the sweet potatoes growing. They took very long to grow, I can finally see some small potatoes on the roots but it's not yet time to remove them. May be another 2 more weeks. For 2 months after panting there was barely any growth and I was wondering if it was failing out. I did not remove it and let it be, watered it and finally after almost 3.5 months it started spreading out.
This was around 2 months back and you can see the difference now.
There is a banana tree also which is growing in the same garden, that's also coming up well and there are other baby banana plants growing by it's side.
There is so much wind here that the leaves get torn up.
Then there is night jasmine growing in another garden, we call it raat rani, that's also blooming up now and it has a very sweet fragrance, especially at night.
The lemon grass is in full bloom.
Now I am waiting for the sweet potatoes to come out. For this season most of the vegetables are done. There are few plants which are still active, like the coriander, turnip, chilies and tomatoes. In 2 months time then there will be no more veggies.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Wow, your garden looks beautiful. I don't know about the banana tree, but the papaya tree looks like it will bear fruit soon.🍀
Both of them will, it's a matter of time and patience :-) A baby banana tree is also growing by it's side
Talk to your gardener about this, but as far as I know, you may have to cut that new baby banana plant because otherwise it may cause problems in fruiting your main tree.
That's a really nice garden, it's such a joy to see the things growing we have seeded or planted before 😀 I just started seeding my plants yesterday, it's early spring where I live and the winter was too cold for everything to grow.
The seasonal changes do break the momentum but then it's natures way of providing us. Wish you all the best with your new season :-)
Pretty amazing garden
Keep on the good work
Thank you
