Spending time with my nephews and nieces is the best activity for me these days. Few years back when we had gatherings it was about clubbing and outings but now with many kids in my circle, the way we spend our weekends have changed completely. Now we prefer being at home and spending time with children in a manner they enjoy. Or going to places which are children friendly. These are all phases of life where you shift from being carefree to being responsible.

Couple of days back my very good friend invited me to her home, the plan was to visit her place and then with family step out for dinner, but then after reaching there I got engaged with the kids and then we stayed back home only and ordered some food. The kids were super excited having me. Like all children when they have a guest they want to show off everything to them. They were also the same, I barely got any time to talk with my friend as spent most of the time with the kids only. That's what generally happens these days, they become the focal point of our meetings.

She has twins, a boy and a girl 6 years old, they are at an age when they like to explore everything and keen about everything. When I reached there for the first 15 minutes I don't remember what was happening, they were so excited, they were removing almost everything to show to me. After their excitement was little settled down then they wanted me to play with them. My friend was telling me, it looks like you have come to meet them and not me.

After sometime it was drawing time and I had to draw exactly as the little girl wanted, and I was supposed to get marks on it. As it is my drawing skills are not that great and I had to do as she would say, it all turned out to be very hilarious.

We gave marks to each other, so I gave her 100 out of 100 and she gave me 100 out of 101, my one mark was deducted because one small line was missed out....hahaha, that was adorable of her.

It was such a wonderful time spending with these little munchkins and I enjoy these kind of evenings, I find them very therapeutic. The little boy is hyper active and he cannot sit and play, he is always on the move, while the girl is calm and sober. The typical male and female personality traits.
