Night time Reflections

These are some of the pictures that I clicked last evening while taking a walk at the reclamation. I was actually not very happy to take these pictures and you will see it why. If you see the pictures, you will see that it is so foggy, and it is not the fog, but the pollution level in the city. Lately there is so much construction happening on almost every road of the city that the whole of the skyline is filled with dust. There are 2 major projects going on in the city, one is the Coastal road and the other one the Metro construction. Both these projects have been going on since quite some time. The Coastal road will complete sooner than the Metro project, is going to take a year or may be more also. The city needs to upgrade and for that things have to be done.

Day or night time, buildings are barely visible these days. Since the last couple of times whenever I have come to Mumbai, I have ended up with a sore throat because of the high level of pollution and dust in the city. On one hand, while this is the problem, I do not like to stay indoors, so I still go out for my walks to somewhat cleaner places.

This distance is not very far and yet these buildings are not clearly visible.

This is actually a very nice place for walks and there is a garden also, probably in a year or two it will all get better.

The Christmas and New Year lights are still on, probably by end of this week all of it will be removed.

The air quality in Muscat city is very clean and good and the difference is very clearly visible. But again, a direct comparison is not very fair because Muscat is a very small city in comparison to Mumbai. The whole of Oman population will be just the population of one area of Mumbai city, that's how crowded it is, so with that there will be other issues also. With the city growing, the infrastructure also has to be developed and for all of that there will be challenges that have to be faced by every person living in the city. Anyways, I still love my city to the core and would not want to be anywhere else in the world.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

A serene reflection indeed! The night has a magical way of unveiling introspective thoughts. Your words and the tranquil images create a contemplative atmosphere.
May the stillness of the night bring more clarity and peace to your reflections. 🌙✨

I'm also hopeful that things will get better or back to normal once the city works are done. Taking a walk through the area, especially when it is a nice one, shouldn't be a hassle for the populace.
