Never ending controversies
The recent Air India crash controversies have been going on and on regarding what possibly will be the cause of the air crash. Some last moment dialogues have been recovered from the black box, not much is out in the public, except for the last 2 lines, which does not give any clarity. I am sure they must have recovered loads of information but must not be wanting to bring it out in the public. On the other hand there are quite a few people from the aviation industry quoting that this was pilot error, where as there is a set of people from the same industry quoting that this cannot be the pilot error. So who has to be blamed?
I am no technical expert on this subject matter and would not be able to say anything confirm, but these are my thoughts after understanding how these big giant industries work. I somewhere feel that the whole problem is being put on the pilots who are no more alive and they cannot defend themselves in any way. There is no one to validate anything or even describe what must have actually happened in the cockpit, and under such a circumstance it is very easy to make them guinea pig. If the blame comes on the airline or the aircraft manufacturing company then there can be a hell lot of implications. And these are living people who will have to face brutal trials if it's true. There is money power with these people so they can manipulate facts.
And if the final blame goes on the pilots, it would be so much painful for their families to absorb that because of them so many lives were lost and somewhere all their lives it will haunt them, especially the very close ones like parents, children and spouse. Why would anyone want to do such a thing, there have been no reports of either of the pilot being mentally unstable. Either a terrorist or a severe depression case can do such a thing of crashing a plane by self and taking away so many lives. It does not look that these 2 pilots were either of them.
Between me and hubby, I believe that the pilots are not at fault and there has been some technical glitch, where as hubby has been listening to all these videos and his belief is that it is not a technical error and it's the pilot's fault. How this will end, we do not know as of now, but I just hope and pray that justice is served. If the airline or the aircraft company are at fault then the truth should come out in some or the other way and these people should be punished. A thorough investigation should happen to bring the real culprit on the table, else it would be very unfair for the souls of those 2 pilots. And if by any chance the pilots are at fault then only god can give them justice in the way they deserve.

Exactly my feeling. I hope there will be justice and those responsible will be punished. Thanks for bringing this topic.

Thank you
Most times these airlines don't like taking any blame so they punish the blames to the pilot just like the obvious reasons you mentioned.
I don't think a right thinking person would want to end their lives and that of many people, I also feel the pilots might just be innocent. I pray that justice will definitely be served
No one knows the real story so people should not be accused until it's proved

I also suspect that there may be cover ups happening behind the scenes, and the blame will be put on the party that can't defend themselves so people will have no choice but to let it go. I don't think the pilots are entirely blameless, it could be a human error on their part or the fault was beyond their control at the time of the event.
It can be or cannot be, but till such time no accusations should be made
That's really so bad, no body could even imagine about it!
