2️⃣ Building a strong foundation in technical skills can be a game-changer in life. What are your thoughts on how technology may open doors to new opportunities not offered previously? Are you utilizing new technology where you live? How have you implemented technology into your daily skills?
I love this phrase, "Looking back - Moving forward". Life is a continuous learning process, every little experience is giving us some valuable lesson in life and if we do not carry that forward with us then there is no point of going through that experience so I truly believe that one must always keep reflecting on the learnings of the past and use them in future experiences. And if we do not put the knowledge of the past experience in to future then possibly we will have to repeat the learning again with challenges.
We should not live in past but what we have learned from it should be carried forward in the future. In my family as a child I have seen some very destructive behaviors of my elders and the result of their behavior has been the cause of their own suffering. Though it has not been my direct experience but still looking at them if I do not learn and create the same mistakes, probably I will also have to go through the same suffering. So while we can learn from our past, we can also learn from the past of people who are close to us.
This is one side of the past about learning and growing which is also an accomplishment. And regarding the accomplishments of the past and using the knowledge in the future is another aspect of it. We have successes as we go along the way, and how we have achieved them is also important. For me my past accomplishments have led me to a better future, it has earned me respect and dignity and I will always want to keep it that way, so while I move forward I keep striving to do better then what I did in past.
Some of the big achievements in life that I have made in past, when I reflect on them I feel that I under estimate my capabilities. I can do much more then I think of myself. The experiences and accomplishments of the past keeps driving me to achieve more and more in life and also to be a better person.
A few days back I wrote a blog on how technology is helpful and at the same time has it's negative impacts also. Though use of technology is minimal in my life I am not against it. It is the future and eventually has to be accepted. Technology is constantly upgrading so something new is constantly going to come up with it. No one thought 100 years ago about mobile phones and internet and here we are now living with them. Similarly we cannot predict what new will come up, but there surely will be. Possibly in future space travel will become common with upgraded technology. I may not be alive in that time but I would so much love if it happens, because that's my one dream to travel in space.
When I think of advanced technology I think about everything that it can explore in space, because that's what I am most interested in, else other things here do not get me carried away much. How about a technology, where we can travel at the speed of light and explore other Earth like planets like Kepler 186f. Also we may be able to tap into some natural resources in space which can solve the problem of depleting resources on Earth and make our planet once again thriving. My mind can gallop on this path as much as I want.
Well, as I mentioned not much use of it in my personal life, except for some few like mobile phone and laptop direct ones, again here also I am not loaded with apps, it's always simple for me, bare minimum what I need.

I think this is why reflecting on our past experiences can be so empowering as it gives us a better picture of what we're really capable of and by extension possible ways to move forward in a better way. I try as much to not dwell in the past also, no point in crying over spilled milk, so to speak.
I'm also so much looking forward to space travel becoming a reality for the masses, I think our collective consciousness will explode in ways we've not imagined before because now our field of experience has expanded tremendously.
True, what's done cannot be changed but what's to come can be and that can be only altered with the experiences of the past.

You are right we learned from our past and as well other people's around us and it has helped us moving the right way and technology of yesterday cannot be compared with that of today a lot of changes and improvement

So far the best way to learn in life is from past experiences, especially when you add in the fact that you get to observe other people making mistakes and learn from them as well, taking lessons from your family members bad decisions without going through the same drama yourself is pretty smart as it basically creates a warning system that helps you avoid similar problems, if only we all learn this things early in life 😉

It's true that everything that happened in the past became a lesson that we can be better in the future. It's up to us on how we deal with it and overcome all the challenges along the way.

Those around us influence our outlook from young, something we carry throughout life. Learning from past into present feels natural, always striving to do well.
Technology more than likely will get to take folk beyond our stars in time to come. Looking back, changes in my lifetime have been astronomical, there is no way of knowing how far this is yet to go.
