As much as I enjoy flying, I hate to take the odd hours midnight and very early morning flights. Today I travelled to Mumbai again after 4 months. Since mine is a staff ticket and subject to load travel, I have to always check on the flight seat status. There are 2 flights in a day, one at 9.15 a.m. and another one at 5.15 a.m. I had initially booked the 9.15 flight, but 2 days before I checked the seat status and the flight showed full. There was 90% chance of me getting offloaded, so not taking that chance I shifted on the 5.15 early morning flight.

Which means I had to leave home latest by 3 a.m. to be there well in time. Airport is not very far from home; it's a 20 mins drive. To leave at 3 I had to wake up at 2.30. I had kept all the bags packed ready at night. Morning, I had to get ready and leave. Again, it's a short flight so I could not catch up on sleep on the flight, by the time I landed I had a heavy head. Night sleep is important for me. The 9.15 flight would have been ideal for me, because then there is no rush and I would get a proper full night's sleep.

Anyways after reaching home, there was another level of excitement and all the sleep was gone. All my welcome calls started and I've been occupied in it back-to-back. Now afternoon I am going to take a short nap so that I can be fresh for the evening and then catch up with some of my friends.

Tomorrow is going to be an adventurous day for me, for the first time in my life I am going to watch a concert and that too of my favorite singer Enrique Iglesias. He is performing in Mumbai on 28th and 29th. Rather this whole trip of mine to Mumbai has been planned around this concert. I am so much looking forward to seeing him live. I have never fancied the idea of concerts, as they are so crowded and hours of standing. But when I got to know that he is coming to perform, I could not hold myself back. That way, I can attend the first concert of my life and also see my favorite artist perform. I love all his songs, especially Escape, Hero and the recent one Heart Beat. I am super excited, after the concert I will share my experience. Since this is my first concert and probably the last one as well, I decided to buy the VIP tickets, and I am hoping that it will be a good experience for me.

This is a very short visit of 10 days; time is going to fly even before I soak myself up thoroughly into the environment.
