Bosphorus Cruise is one of the entertainment activity that one should preferably do in Istanbul. This was hubby's idea to include it in our entertainment because he loves all boating activities. Whenever we are on a holiday and if the destination has boating options then it is like a must for us to do it. I can also agree to it, that boating is always a fun activity. This boat sails along the Bosphorus Strait, which separates the european and the asian sides of the city. A part of Istanbul falls under the european side and a part under the asian, which was something new that I got to know about while travelling here. Well nothing changes as such, the landscape is the same, it is just the geographical position.

We were picked up from our hotel at around 7.30 and by the time we reached the port it was almost 8.15 and then from there on our cruise started. It was raining that evening and very windy also, so as soon as we reached there we were transferred in to the boat, thankfully there was no waiting outside. It took a while for the sailing but then at least we were warm and cozy inside. The tables were reserved and we were guided to our table at the entry. It was all very well organized, there was absolutely no hassle.

Once we settled down at our table then the server came to us and he told us that he will be responsible for serving us and some other tables around us. I guess each one of them had around 8 to 10 tables to attend to depending on the number of guests at each table. As we settled down, we were served salad and some appetizers to start with. Meal and drinks preferences were already taken in advance during the booking, so it was all smoothly flowing in. There were 2 types of packages one with liquor and one with soft drinks. We had selected the liquor ones, so I ordered for wine and hubby called for vodka.

This was to start with for the meals. Later on the main course was served, for which there was option of fish, chicken and meat.

The views were attractive

As you can see the boat is full, but then everyone was very comfortable and the arrangements were commendable.

There was an entertainment show also arranged. Some of their artist performed some local dance.
This one is the Sufi whirling, I have always found this form of dance very profound and deep.

That was it. It was an evening of good food, great views and delightful entertainment.
