My paddy field is my comfort place which calms my mind.
Friends, I hope you are doing well. Welcome to my new post. We do different things in our lives which require comfort. We seek mental and physical comfort in different places. We find mental and physical comfort somewhere or the other. I also have a comfort place which is my paddy field. My father inherited his property from his father, one of which is our 87120 sq ft share of my father's property.
We have been cultivating this land for about 20 to 25 years and we get a lot of good crops here. The place is a very dear place to me. When it comes time to sow our paddy seeds, I go to this place. I plant paddy seedlings here sometimes. Apart from this, we get paddy seedlings planted here by the local people.
My land has yielded a very good crop. During the rice season, there are many obstacles here. People's goats come here to eat rice. I chase them away. Sometimes, many foreign birds come here. When these birds come, they eat the rice. I sit here and chase them away.
There is a road next to my rice field. Which is basically the entrance to our village. There is a small pool in front of it. When I go there in the afternoon, I sit there. I observe my rice field and I like it very much. When people come here, I talk to them. Actually, I like talking to the people of the village very much. I want to know about their mental state.
Especially in the afternoon, some more people come here. Who are mainly local people here, they come here for a walk. Since our rice field is located next to a large rice field, more people come here to observe their rice fields.
There are different seasons in our country. There are two seasons for rice fields. And in these two seasons we cultivate rice. I have a big dream that I will buy a place next to my rice field. Then I will build a big house here. Where I can observe my rice field and spend my life here.
This place is very quiet, due to which I get peace here. Sometimes I like the sound of birds chirping. When the temperature rises a lot in summer, I go to this place. I sit there and the breeze coming from around the field makes my mind very calm. Then this serene environment seems like heaven to me. And all this gives me a lot of comfort.
