Mis primeros pasos en Hive [Esp/Eng]

¡Hola a todos! Es un placer poder presentarme ante esta comunidad de Hive. Mi nombre es Leidy Marín, y estoy muy emocionada de formar parte de este espacio donde podré compartir mis experiencias con ustedes.

Permítanme contarles un poco sobre mí. Mi historia y quién soy: Nací, me crie y estudié en un pueblo del estado Táchira llamado San Juan de Colón, conocido como "la ciudad de las palmeras" debido a la gran cantidad de palmeras que adornan su paisaje. En este pueblo, además de las palmeras, también destaca un cerro de forma muy peculiar por su aspecto de volcán llamado "Cerro El Morrachón".

Nosotros, los andinos, nos caracterizamos por ser trabajadores, cordiales y con fuerte sentido de pertenencia a nuestras tierras y raíces.

A los 18 años me casé, tuve mi primer hijo, Santiago. Sus primeros años los pasamos en esa hermosa tierra.

Les cuento que en unas vacaciones del mes de agosto, exactamente hace diez años, estuvimos visitando la hermosa isla de Margarita. En ese momento me enamoré de su gente, su cultura, sus paisajes y sus hermosas playas. Al poco tiempo de estar en nuestra casa en Los Andes venezolanos, recibimos una propuesta de trabajo muy tentadora de una empresa andina de un conocido que iba a inaugurar una sucursal en tierras orientales, específicamente en la isla de Margarita.

Quedamos sorprendidos por esta noticia, así que no lo pensamos dos veces, lo decidimos y nos mudamos a la isla. Fue duro, al comienzo, no es lo mismo estar de vacaciones donde todo es puro relax, paseos, fiesta y diversión a empezar a vivir en la isla, acostumbrarse a una rutina nuevamente desde cero. Dejar nuestra casa, nuestra forma de vivir, y nuestra zona de confort fue difícil. Nos sentíamos con temor y a la vez felices con el gran paso que estábamos dando en familia.

Aquí en estas tierras orientales nació mi segunda bebé, Emily, así que ‎tengo dos hermosos hijos: uno andino y el otro margariteño. Este nacimiento viene con una hermosa casualidad, pues el día en que nació mi hija fue un siete de septiembre, en vísperas de la celebración del día de la Virgen del Valle, patrona del oriente venezolano, y sé que con su manto protege a mi familia.

Mudarnos a la Isla de Margarita fue una de las mejores decisiones que hemos tomado como familia. Luego de unos años constituimos nuestro propio emprendimiento llamado Multiservicios MP C.A., dedicado a los servicios de cámaras, cerco eléctrico, plantas eléctricas, neveras, aires acondicionados todo lo referente a la venta, instalación y mantenimientos de estos equipos.

Hemos logrado varias metas que nos habiamos propuestos, avanzando con pasos lentos pero seguros, sin prisa pero sin pausa.

Conocí Hive gracias a mi prima @jesymora quien me contó de la plataforma y me encantó desde el primer momento, y hoy inicio gracias al programa de onboarding de @OCD a través de @rlathulerie quien aperturó mi cuenta y me ha estado instruyendo en todo el manejo del ecosistema.

Desde hoy estaré compartiendo contenido de mi día a día los lugares que frecuentamos en familia lugares maravillosos de esta isla que nos ha abiertos sus puertas tratándonos excelente .

Hello, everyone! It is a pleasure to introduce myself to this Hive community. My name is Leidy Marín, and I am very excited to be part of this space where I can share my experiences with you.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My story and who I am: I was born, raised, and educated in a town in the state of Táchira called San Juan de Colón, known as "the city of palm trees" due to the large number of palm trees that adorn its landscape. In addition to the palm trees, this town also features a hill with a very peculiar shape resembling a volcano called "Cerro El Morrachón".

We, the Andean people, are known for being hard-working, friendly, and having a strong sense of belonging to our land and roots.

At the age of 18 I got married and had my first son, Santiago. We spent his first years in that beautiful land.

I would like to tell you that during a holiday in August, exactly ten years ago, we visited the beautiful island of Margarita. At that time, I fell in love with its people, its culture, its landscapes and its beautiful beaches. Shortly after returning to our home in the Venezuelan Andes, we received a very tempting job offer from an Andean company owned by an acquaintance who was opening a branch in the east, specifically on the island of Margarita.

We were surprised by this news, so we didn't think twice, made the decision and moved to the island. It was hard at first. It's not the same to be on holiday, where everything is pure relaxation, walks, parties and fun, as it is to start living on the island and get used to a new routine from scratch. Leaving our home, our way of life and our comfort zone was difficult. We felt fearful and at the same time happy about the big step we were taking as a family.

Here in these eastern lands my second baby, Emily, was born, so I have two beautiful children: one from the Andes and the other from Margarita. This birth comes with a beautiful coincidence, because the day my daughter was born was the seventh of September, on the eve of the celebration of the day of the Virgen del Valle, patron saint of eastern Venezuela, and I know that with her mantle she protects my family.

Moving to Margarita Island was one of the best decisions we have made as a family. After a few years, we started our own business called Multiservicios MP C.A., dedicated to the sale, installation, and maintenance of cameras, electric fences, power generators, refrigerators, air conditioners, and everything related to these types of equipment.

We have achieved several of the goals we set for ourselves, moving forward slowly but surely, without haste but without pause.

I learned about Hive thanks to my cousin @jesymora, who told me about the platform, and I loved it from the very beginning. Today, I am getting started thanks to the @OCD onboarding programme through @rlathulerie, who opened my account and has been teaching me everything about how the ecosystem works.

Starting today, I will be sharing content about my daily life, the places we frequent as a family, and the wonderful places on this island that have opened their doors to us and treated us so well.
