He escuchado varias canciones muy repetidamente en este año pero hay una que me encanta y es de mi cantante favorita Taylor Swift, la canción se llama Illicit Affairs. Illicit Affairs es una canción del álbum "folklore" lanzado por Taylor Swift en 2020. La canción trata sobre una aventura amorosa secreta y ilícita. La letra de la canción explora los sentimientos y las implicaciones emocionales que conlleva mantener una relación clandestina. Aunque podría mencionar que Taylor es una de las cantantes que más escucho y que más disfruto al oír sus canciones, hay un cantante del cual no tenía mucho conocimiento solo que pertenecía a la banda Linkin Park y que ya no se encuentra entre nosotros. Chester Bennington es un cantante que realmente logra transmitir a través de su voz tanta fuerza, dolor y amor por lo que hacía. Realmente me entristece un poco el no haberlo escuchado antes por qué tenía una voz maravillosa y era un ser humano sumamente bondadoso y bueno que al final termino cansado de todo lo que el tocó vivir. Este año lo escuché muchísimo porque encontré una canción que realmente me hace sentir abrazada, esa canción es One More Light y habla precisamente de sentirse perdido, sentir un vacío y Chester nos decía con su voz y la letra de la canción que para él eres importante y que siempre las cosas pueden mejorar estando rodeados de las personas que realmente nos quieren. Es una canción que me hace sentir muy triste ya que creo que fue una de las últimas canciones que él saco con la banda y que además hay un vídeo en internet donde se acerca a sus fans mientras canta esta canción y el los toma de la mano cómo diciendo que está aquí y que siempre estará, ya perdí la cuenta de cuántas veces la he escuchado pero para mí fue muy importante este año.
Although I could mention that Taylor is one of the singers I listen to the most and that I enjoy listening to her songs the most, there is a singer that I didn't know much about only that he belonged to the band Linkin Park and that he is no longer with us. It is a song that makes me feel very sad because I think it was one of the last songs he released with the band and there is also a video on the internet where he approaches his fans while singing this song and he takes them by the hand saying that he is here and that he will always be, I have lost count of how many times I have heard it but for me it was very important this year.

Sin duda mi banda favorita durante mucho tiempo ha sido Coldplay, porque a quien no le gusta al menos una canción de esta banda, son maravillosos y Chris Martin parece un ángel caído del cielo no solo por el ser humano que es sino por cada álbum donde nos demuestra el valor del amor, del perdón, de la felicidad, de la tristeza, de la soledad y tantas cosas más. Siempre me gusta escuchar al menos una canción por día de ellos, me encanta últimamente Green Eyes y también escucho mucho Fix You, siento que Fix You es una canción tan especial sobre todo por qué el la escribió para su ex pareja la cual estaba pasando por el duelo de haber perdido a su padre y sentía que no había hecho lo suficiente por él y es entonces cuando Chris con su manera tan genuina de escribir canciones hizo Fix You, esta canción es la favorita de muchos y una de las más conocidas de la banda, cuando la escucho me hace sentir mucha paz y también me ayuda a reflexionar sobre la vida en general.
Without a doubt my favorite band for a long time has been Coldplay, because who doesn't like at least one song from this band, they are wonderful and Chris Martin seems like an angel fallen from heaven not only for the human being he is but for each album where he shows us the value of love, forgiveness, happiness, sadness, loneliness and so many more things. I always like to listen to at least one song a day from them, I love lately Green Eyes and I also listen a lot to Fix You, I feel that Fix You is such a special song especially because he wrote it for his ex-partner who was going through the grief of losing her father and felt that she had not done enough for him and that is when Chris with his genuine way of writing songs made Fix You, this song is the favorite of many and one of the most known of the band, when I listen to it makes me feel very peaceful and also helps me to reflect on life in general.

Hay una canción que he escuchado mucho este año desde que la encontré en Spotify y es en español, se llama Suficiente de Leonel García el que formaba parte de la banda Sin Bandera. Si no han escuchado a Leonel cantar en solitario les digo que tienen que hacerlo por qué de verdad es algo increíble, tiene una voz hermosa y también tiene una larga lista de canciones que ha escrito para otros cantantes y que son muy buenas también. Suficiente habla de una relación que llegó a su final donde el expresa que dió todo lo mejor de si mismo para tratar de que la relación perdurara pero no fue así, entonces esta diciéndole a su pareja que a pesar de haber mucho amor entre ellos, las cosas han cambiado y ya nada es lo mismo. Es una canción muy triste y me gusta mucho por el tono de voz de Leonel y cómo le agrega mucho sentimiento a la canción, sin duda el es un gran cantante y compositor.
There is a song that I have listened to a lot this year since I found it on Spotify and it is in Spanish, it is called Suficiente by Leonel Garcia who was part of the band Sin Bandera. It is a very sad song and I really like the tone of Leonel's voice and how he adds a lot of feeling to the song, no doubt he is a great singer and songwriter.

One Republic es una banda que conocí cuando era más pequeña casi entrando a la adolescencia, recuerdo haber visto el vídeo de la canción Apologize y esta canción me quedo grabada en la cabeza que hasta el día de hoy la tengo presente. Este año me puse a investigar cuál era el nombre del álbum donde va incluida la canción Apologize y se llama Dreaming Out Loud del año 2007. Realmente recuerdo que en esa época veía mucho el canal MTV cuándo pasaban las horas de videos musicales y me encantaba ver que era lo nuevo que iban a pasar cada día y fue cuando descubrí la canción. Después este año supe cual era el álbum y realmente me di cuenta de que es un álbum muy bueno y que la banda no tiene la popularidad que merece porque el cantante canta increíble y las letras de las canciones son muy buenas, les recomiendo escuchar además de Apologize una que se llama Stop and Stare que me gusta muchísimo y que me hace sentir como en mis años de adolescencia, considero que este álbum fue uno de mis favoritos este año.

También conocí a The Strokes por mi hermana y en un vídeo me apareció la canción Ode to the Mets. Está canción me hizo sentir extraña por qué sentí que reviví muchas cosas que creí haber olvidado, es una canción bastante triste pero que también tiene un mensaje de que las cosas pueden mejorar y el cantante te da ese ánimo para que luches por tu vida y tus sueños. Aunque sea triste realmente me gustó mucho haberla descubierto y también a esta banda que tiene canciones increíbles.
I also got to know The Strokes through my sister and in a video I saw the song Ode to the Mets. This song made me feel strange because I felt like I relived a lot of things I thought I had forgotten, it's a pretty sad song but it also has a message that things can get better and the singer gives you that encouragement to fight for your life and your dreams. Even though it is sad I really enjoyed discovering it and also this band that has amazing songs.

Sin duda una de las canciones que define mi 2023 es You're On Your Own Kid de Taylor Swift. Está canción hace que recuerde muchas cosas de mi infancia, momentos dónde sentía que era la persona que mantenía las cosas para que no se derrumbaran los demás, era la persona que estaba acompañada pero me sentía sola, me sentía incomprendida. Cuando la escuché por primera vez no pude evitar sentir tanta nostalgia y a la vez tristeza y me dieron ganas de abrazar a mis versiones pasadas que hicieron lo que pudieron con lo que sabía y que me mantuvieron de pie para seguir adelante a pesar de todo. Es una de las canciones que considero más bonitas y personales de Taylor y me encanta que ella hable no solo del amor sino también de cómo podemos sentirnos con nuestras relaciones de amistad, familiares y que algunas veces terminamos solos pero que siempre debemos tener presentes que al final nos tenemos a nosotros y eso es lo más importante.
Without a doubt one of the songs that defines my 2023 is You're On Your Own Kid by Taylor Swift. This song makes me remember many things from my childhood, moments where I felt that I was the person who kept things from falling apart, I was the person who was accompanied but I felt alone, I felt misunderstood. When I heard it for the first time I couldn't help but feel so nostalgic and at the same time sad and it made me want to embrace my past versions who did what they could with what they knew and who kept me on my feet to keep going despite everything. It is one of Taylor's most beautiful and personal songs and I love that she talks not only about love but also about how we can feel about our friendships, family relationships and that sometimes we end up alone but we must always keep in mind that in the end we have each other and that is the most important thing.
Realizar este repaso de las canciones que más disfruté y que me apoyaron durante momentos difíciles en el 2023 me ha hecho darme cuenta de que siempre tengo la oportunidad de escuchar una canción que pueda transformar mi vida y mi perspectiva.
