Freewrite: The Old Lodge

This is my short fictional story based on the freewrite prompt.

Emily and the friends took the vacation into the woods. Everyone around town used to think that woods were safe. As there were no crime and the incidents of any sort. The place was perfect for the vacation as the woods had the water source nearby and perfect fruit trees around it where many used to camp.

Emily and the friends camped near one such tree. And they decided to search for the wood and the things they can have for the evening. Emily moved too much ahead into the mountains and found an old lodge there. She decided to peek in and though there must be some old folks living and she could ask for help if they need any at night.

She looked inside the window and noticed there is nobody and it felt like there are people living but nobody is there. She decided to move back to the camp and she took few steps away from the lodge.

"Make sure you don't come out of the tent after 11, or else... "
