Freewrite : Bite Me

This is my attempt at short story fiction using freewrite prompt.

Mango season is up. And jay and layla are out to get the ripe mangoes but they are not yet. As the season is just started they thought why not take some out for the pickle. But the garden belonged to the neighbour and they were kind of protective on who comes in there.

Green mango pickles taste awesome in the off season like say winter and rainy season. And kids just love that. This time they thought it would be worth trying it earlier if they can take down those green delicious mangoes.

There was nobody in the house so both the kids thought why not go out and take those green mangoes down. They took few of them out but suddenly the neighbour elderly women came through her car and caught both of them.

Neighbour said " I am going to complain to your parents that you are taking stuff without permission".

"Bite me" says Jake.
