FIRST HIVE POST🌼

Hello everyone 👋, my name is Miracle Chilaka oluomachi from Imo State Nigeria. I was introduced to hive by victory with the username @toryfestus who happens to be my neighbour and good friend, she went through the process through @kilvnrex her elder brother.

I anticipate knowing new people, making new friends as well as learning from everyone. Growing up, I loved people who knew how to do basic skills like; hair making, tailoring, baking, make-up, and beads making. I remember practicing on this very one. I already imagined a future making beads. My journey as a hair stylist came suddenly when I entered secondary school. Life became tough when my mother lost her job because all family responsibility was on her, however I encouraged her and we continued the journey of life. Although I have not yet professionized in making hair, I am putting my best and believe that I will make it.

I am a young girl/ teenager, but I wish to operate in a high frequency, because from the little I knew, life is planning, no matter your status, height, colour, age. I always felt my mother's feelings and struggled to survive, which is not comfortable to me. But I thought every wrong or something that is not in our favor will not last forever.
Hence, my mother is all I have , no father's help in all ramifications, which I strongly believe that we must survive. I am the only child of my mother. So I summoned courage to help my mother to hawk business. Like selling cooked ground nuts, which my mother totally disagreed with, because she said that it is not advisable to allow a girl or a teenager to hawk business, hence, you may expose her to danger or corruption. So based on that, my mother continued searching for work, and finally God, through the help of men, provided a job for her. Although, it is not as good as she wanted, but a bird at hand worth millions in the bush.

However, stages of life have made me understand that life is not a bed of roses. Before my mother got this job, we were nearly out of our house, and conditions were so tough that we could barely afford a day's meal. Including my grandmother's health which was another big challenges on my mother's sides, honestly it wasn't easy, the most painful part of it is that my mother called me on that faithful day of ( 3rd August 2023) and said she have decided to withdraw me from my school to government school, Oh! It was horrible, I was devastated, I cried for two days begging my mother, although I understand her situation, but I Love my school with passion because of their packaged— ( like been disciplined etc ) infact it's like the world want to fail on me even my mother was crying together with me, I noticed she don't slept well in the night, at a time, she started depreciating, and I kept consoling her because I felt her pains too. But in all circumstances, God showed mercy at his own time. And things are beginning to change gradually, indeed, A notable writer once said that ( The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands at the time of chance and convenience, but where he stands at the time of challenges and controversy..
Glory be to God that my mother did not lose her life because of frustration. A big Allaluyaaa!!
Like I said earlier, things started restoring gradually, though equations have not yet balanced because of the little she earns with Nigeria Economy palaver or challenges.

It is not easy to take care of family problems, but we appreciate God for the little one she has at hand and believe that better opportunities are still coming. With my little experience in life, I know that I must work hard in order to achieve my goal and perseverance is also a key to success. That is why I'm schooling and also learning how to make hair (stylist in making) and also I do make beads when I have money to buy materials or at times when I am on break or holidays.
