Saturday Savers Club - 63k Hive Power reached

Hello to all Saturday Savers. We are now at the end of week 19 and mid way through May. You can check what week it is here.

The market has been quite turbulent this week with Bitcoin dropping a little and this has pushed alts down too by the looks of it. The bear market seems to be quite protracted at the moment.

As I am still a little away from my goals, this will make reaching them a bit easier, as buying Hive will be cheaper so I can buy some more.

I have reached my SPS goal last week, I am back to following just 3 main goals that I will pursue. It is good to cross one of them off the list already.

Week 7 in the 365 Day HBD challenge is completed this week:

I managed to save just 1,80 HBD this week, which was less than last week.

This was way short of my target 3,22 HBD. Overall I am still ahead of my target. I have saved 18,13 HBD against my target of 12,25 HBD. I still have some buffer before I need to convert some Hive to HBD to stay on target.

I won 11 Hive from the Hive Chess Tournament this week and can use some of it to buy HBD if needed.

On to this week's numbers:

My main target is to grow my Hive Power.

My Hive increased by 242 this week which is a little lower than my last few weeks. Hopefully this will pick up again in the coming weeks. The good news is that I passed the 63k Hive Power mark, which is a nice marker to pass.

From the chart from hivestats.io, the growth is quite consistent and with a nice power up for HPUD.

My second goal is to increase my ALIVE power to 25k. This is my current progress:

This week I staked 255 ALIVE which has taken me over the 15k ALIVE mark. I can now start chasing down the 20k ALIVE total. I also have less than 10k to go to reach my goal which is good. This should be achievable before the end of the year.

My final goal is to increase my staked GLX.

My GLX tokens increased by 1466 this week after I bought some extra GLX from the market. I will keep dipping into the market when I can to help reach my goal. I am just 1198 GLX behind being able to reach my target by the end of the year. But with the high APR, I think I will reach it faster.
