Do i share with you or with me? Stained Glass Museum Visit

While I'm processing some old data files in the background, doing backups (apparently, yesterday was World Backup Day), I felt like sharing this little visit to the Museum of Stained Glass. It had been on my list for a while, yet I never had the chance to actually visit until now. Apart from being more expensive than I expected (about $15), it was a cool little visit. Seeing the different techniques and the craft that goes into creating such great pieces of art was very impressive. I usually see this kind of stuff in churches, and the most impressive part is, of course, when a ray of sunlight comes through, but how often do we actually think about how these pieces of art are made? The guide took us around and shared a lot of technical details, but to be honest, I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t pay much attention. The only thing I really remember is the business side and how much it costs to make something like that. One simple piece 1m x 1m it's around 1k dollars to make people buying silly balenciaga shoes for that much so I think that having such a beautiful piece of art is something unique and special.

Perhaps one day, I will return with my camera and film there – it would be easier to understand the whole process of making stained glass. One thing I know for sure is that it requires skill, patience, and the right tools. If anyone is ever in Krakow, it might be worth popping in to see the MuWi Stained Glass Museum.

I'm amazed just how much work goes into making these beautiful pieces. I’d love to visit and see the process for myself someday, very special stuff
