I am not sure at what age I started to feel and do this but the earliest I remember I was about 8 years old and I started to go into our house and as I touched the doorknob, my knees started to shake. Scared I did not open the door but my little brother did and my little sister followed him inside, and as soon as they went inside a civic cat sprayed them. I got the message that when my knees shook, I knew something was not right.

I do remember one time I listened to what I call a gut feeling. It was a nagging feeling to go somewhere. For a couple of days, something kept telling me to go to a certain thrift store. I gave up and went there. They had an entire computer setup, a mouse, a keyboard, a tower, and a monitor. I found something that we had been wanting but could not afford to buy new, this was many years ago.

Things like that have happened often when I get that feeling of needing something and can not afford to buy it, and I always regret it when I do not listen to it because I will hear about how someone in the family or a friend found a good deal on what I was looking for.

It has been a few years since I have had "that feeling". The last time I was driving to South Vero to fish. I am not sure how this works but I had my boat behind the truck and as I was driving I could see myself fishing the edge of a flat just outside Round Island, I was seeing myself fishing, not the cars around me on the road and I was still driving, it was like I was projected there. I saw I was catching pompano and other commercial fishermen were NW of me. All of the way to the ramp, maybe 5 miles I saw myself fishing this one spot.

When I got to the place where I saw myself fishing when I was driving, I went on by it, even still after having the feeling to stop. I wasted most of the day trying other areas to fish and only had 3 fish. When I got back to the edge of the flat, I skipped a pompano and caught 9 as fast as I could put them in the boat and it was over. Were they there all day? I will never know.

I told myself if I ever saw myself like that again, I would do what I saw myself doing, but it has never happened so maybe I learned my lesson too late.
