5 minute freewrite 2976 prompt is that right?

This is my post for #freewriters 2976 prompt * is that right?* hosted by @mariannewest

It was late when we got home yesterday, so I asked my husband to get Rudy's food while I went to the fish house. Rudy was not happy with the things he picked, and he did not pick very many of them, and no grass that he likes. So, of course, Rudy banged his dish all night. He lets me know when he is not happy about his food. He kept waking me up. I got up around two and gave him a strawberry, and that seemed to calm him down.
My sister could not go with me today. Her washing machine quit, and the repairman was coming to see if he could fix it. He told her the part to fix it was worth more than a new machine. What do you think about parts that cost more than a machine costs? Is that right?
I only caught twenty jacks. I left them iced down on the boat. I had something very large hit my jig today. Before I could get the boat spun so I could chase it down, it ran almost all of my line off of the reel. I reeled as fast as I could while running the boat towards it. Whatever it was, headed for the other side of the canal to shallow water and straight for a crab trap, it wrapped my line around the trap, and I was lucky, it got off.

I took this picture a few days ago. Yesterday we saw six of them, one is a man-eater, eleven or twelve feet. One was feeding on a dead pelican. I wondered if he was the reason the pelican died. It was lying on the bank. I should have stopped and taken a picture of it. We have a lot of gators in the south prong, but I have never seen that many in the north prong of the creek. There is a preserve on both sides of the creek, and there is a law that they can not allow state run gator hunts near any preserve. I do not want them all killed, but you have to manage the big ones or there will be trouble.
