5 minute freewrite 2957 prompt appeal to them

This is my post for #freewriters 2957 prompt appeal to them hosted by @mariannewest
Today did not start on a good foot. My sister is never here early, so I waited until 6:30 to call her and tell her that the wind was blowing to hard for us to fish. When she answered, she said she was at my mailbox, but she will turn around and go home.
All week the weather people have been saying the wind will die out for Saturday and Sunday. It was blowing 18 this morning, but by 8 it had come down to 11 so I called her again and said, " Let's go. She then tells me her knee is bothering her and why don't we not go today. I got mad and hung up on her.
She showed up at my house and we went fishing. The wind was calm when we left the ramp, but by the time we got to the US1 bridge, it was blowing about 15 knots. All I could do was idle into it as we crossed the river.
We made it to Long Point and skipped a pompano, we anchored and stayed for 45 minutes, we caught a huge stingray, but when my sister tried to unhook it, she broke the hook off of the rig, so I had to change the entire rig.
We moved several times for nothing. My husband called and said he caught three, but last night he made four hook rigs and put a lead at the top and bottom of each, with no beads. I took beads off of one pole, changed beads on others, I had some with lead at the top, and some without, but nothing I did seemed to matter.

I told my sister to bring clams tomorrow because sandfleas seem to not appeal to them anymore. I am thinking the river might have a lot of duck clams, and they are feeding on them. The only problem with using clams is that the catfish can smell them, but if they help catch pompano, I will unhook catfish all day long.
We finally gave up on Long Point and ran to Pepper Cove. We caught our first fish there, it was almost 2 O'clock. We were anchored, and another boat was headed across the north side of the flatt. I told my sister I was glad he was going through there, so I did not need to go out in the rough water. That was going to be our next move.

My next thought was, I wish he had not run through there. The pompano went to skipping from his boat in all directions. He was not a commercial fisherman, and I do not think he even knew what they were. We headed that way, but by the time we slopped our way out there, they were gone.
We ran back to Long Point and caught one more, by now it was after 3 and I was ready to go home. My husband or I did not weigh our fish from yesterday, so we took them to the fishhouse today, he had 27 pounds and we had 21. Our fish were bigger than his fish. hehehehe

My sister said these clouds look like smoke. I told her they look like lines to me.

We had moved, and the next time I looked that way, they had grown a lot!!! What was so strange about them was, they were the only clouds that looked like this.
photos are mine
I hope the clams will definitely appeal to them.

She forgot to bring them.
Awww, so how did you manage to fish then? Or you didn't go fishing with her again?
We will fish again, we get mad at each other, but we get over it. I will try the clams the next time we fish, but the wind is blowing too hard now, so it will be after Christmas.
Oh, okay. That's good to know. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 in advance.
