We had a lot of rain last night, and I was afraid these sprinklers would come on before the grass could get dry enough to weed eat. Even when we get a good rain like last night, we leave the sprinklers on, the more water they get, the better they grow. We do not turn them off unless we are going to have several days of hard rain.

I gave up on the grass getting dry and had to keep banging wet grass from under the weed eater.

The other day, when I went to the river looking to clear my head and to find pottery and fossils, they were a bonus. I walked to the bridge and partway back, and I wished there was a place to sit. If you sit on the shoreline, these little bugs get all over you. In the distance, I could see it. I saw it on my way to the bridge, so I was looking forward to it on my way back.

Here it is, isn't it beautiful? I could not believe how well it fit me, as if someone carved it just for me.

I know it was not an ivory tower, but when I sat down, with a little adjusting of the tailbone between the roots, it was as if I sat on the golden throne in the ivory tower, it was comfortable. I did not want to get back up. I rested until my back felt better.

I wonder why my back was hurting so bad? I wanted this rock for my rock garden. I do not think it is from around here, it must be something they hauled in, but it was the only one. It is a mystery. Maybe a pirate left it, and it is pointing to buried treasure.
