5 minute freewrite 2778 prompt oppose the king!

Yesterday, my husband said he wanted to go out to The Stickmarsh fishing, and did I want to go? I wanted to, but I have not been feeling that great with the back pain and did not want to sit in a boat all morning.

When I woke this morning at 5:45, he was headed out the door. I was so glad I did not want to go. For going play fishing, that is too early.

The Sickmarsh is an old orange grove that has been flooded and stocked with freshwater bass. Bass fishing is catch and release only, but the Stickmarsh is also good for catfishing because almost all of the people who fish there do not care to catch them, but my husband and I love to, and he loves to eat them.

He did not have much ice with him, so he filled his live well and put the fish in it. As soon as he got home, he got the one that had died out and cleaned it. He then went into the house and fried it up for lunch. Then he came back out to clean the rest of them. He caught 14 and was home by 11.

When he showed me his catch, I was jealous that I did not get up and go with him. One day I will say oppose the king! I want to go grouper fishing, you know you have a fish on when you hook a grouper. But then reality strikes, and I realize there is no way I could hold the rod to get a grouper to the boat.
