5 minute freewrite 2776 prompt such a stereotype
This is my post for #freewriters 2776 prompt such a stereotype hosted by @mariannewest
It is what it is, that is life. Why some people can not accept that is beyond me. What are we to do? We can not change what has been done. Sure, we can get mad, or we can say, this too, shall pass. The last one is the answer.
One of my sisters called today, she was upset over our checks not being here yet, and because I told the company that sent them to wait. She said she was going to call the mobile notary and complain to him, I thought, that poor guy, anyway, I told her he has nothing to do with the checks or why they are not here yet. idk if she called him.
This is what happened. They told me if the checks did not arrive Saturday, to let them know and they would reissue new ones and have them sent overnight by Fedex. I told them why not wait until Monday? My thinking was if they sent them overnight, it would be Sunday when we got them, and you can not do anything with them on a Sunday. So we were not losing anything by waiting another day.
The checks came today, Monday, 11 days after they were mailed.
In short, I will tell you this company is such a stereotype of what companies have become. The checks were to come overnight Fedex, and they were to be cashiers checks. The checks came plain mail, we did not have to sign for them, and they had no tracking number, and not cashiers checks, plain checks that we have to wait to clear the bank.
We had to get two extensions on selling the property because I was not told what they needed for the property to sell until the last minute, no communication between us. I do not think this matters, but my address on my check is wrong, they have me living at my mother's house, and the address on both sisters' checks is wrong, they have them living on the property that was sold, in another state.
But like I said in the beginning, it is what it is, and this, too, shall pass, and it did.

Wow, what a series of mix-ups! Did they do anything right?
It was all going fine until we had to deal with the title company, they are who messed EVERYTHING UP. Not one thing went right.
"It is by the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed" ... because the incompetence of others does not take us out every day because He takes care of us...
Amen to that.
