5 minute freewrite 2729 prompt not a treat
This is my post for #freewriters 2729 prompt not a treat hosted by @mariannewest
It took us two and a half hours to travel from the east coast of Florida to the west coast. Every time I make this drive, I am amazed by the vacant land between the coasts.
You can drive for miles and miles without seeing any developments. If that is not a treat, I do not know what is. There are several cattle farms and watermelon farms. I did not get a picture, but the watermelon farms use old school buses with the windows taken out. We saw them picking the watermelons, and they threw them up to someone standing in the bus, and they stacked them in it.
There are a few small towns but you go for many miles and only see vacant land. We saw a sod farm and my daughter thought it was weird they only grew grass. I told her that was big money with all of the developments along the coast, they all have to plant grass in their yards.
When we got to the house, this is the first thing I saw, it made me miss Rudy.
I wonder what he will think when I am not there to clean his cage and feed him. Last night, I was petting him and rubbing his face with my hand, and my husband said he will not let me touch him. He stuck his hand in the cage, and Rudy ran over and boxed his hand with his front feet. I am the only one who has ever fed and cared for him, and I am worried he might not eat if my husband feeds him.
The house my daughter rented has a swimming pool, and the water is not cold. I am going to love it. There are 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a 2 car garage, and a screened in room that the pool is in. This place is so nice, but it is not within walking distance of the beach. I thought it was, but my daughter said she could not afford the houses near the beach. That was the treat I wanted because if no one wanted to go to the beach, I could walk to it. She told me it is 20 minutes away by car.

I hope your rabbit is eating and that you have a relaxing time away.
My husband said he fed him and is doing ok, but my hubby is sick, it is a good time for me to be away. You know how sick men can be, lol.
What a lovely place for a vacation! Enjoy that pool!
It is a very nice house.
Wow you're on vacation. I think that's amazing! I wish I too can go on vacation one day. 😆 I have the kitties to think of if I should, so for now, no going on vacation for me. 😆 Have lotsa fun and take care! An advance happy weekend...

Thank you, @iamraincrystal. I enjoy going places with my daughter, and I am sure you miss doing the same with your daughter. Maybe one day you will be able to do it again.
