5 minute freewrite 2724 prompt barely skilled

As I said yesterday, I regret telling my sister that she could fish while I ran the boat. I have busted my rear getting her boat trailer adjusted to fit my boat. I am not saying she has not helped with anything, I am saying she could have helped more. She helped take my boat off my old trailer and she helped to get her boat off her trailer, but she did not help when it came to redesigning her trailer to fit my boat. I understand she is barely skilled at doing these things, but she knows how to turn a wrench. My hand kept me up most of the night from using it so much.

Yesterday while we were at her house working on the boat trailer, she went with a friend and was gone all day. My husband and I got it fixed enough to drive it home. I asked her if she was going to help today, and she told me she had promised another friend that she would spend the day with him and would come to help after her visit. She showed up around 4 in the afternoon, by that time I was beat and did not want to work anymore.

My husband and I worked on it all day, we had to take the bunks from my trailer and put them on this trailer, we had to take two that were on this one off. We also had to move the jackstand back. Whoever mounted it had it too far up the tongue, it would hit if you had to make a sharp turn.

The next thing to do was to put the boat on the trailer and since we had my sister here, we figured we had better put it on there while we had her help, because she told me she would not be here tomorrow to help. I did not want to do it, but it would have been harder for just us two to do it tomorrow.

In the morning, we will take it to Donald McDonald's boat ramp and put the boat in the water so we can adjust the wench stand. We had to take hers off the trailer and put mine from my trailer on it but we have the boat too far forward and could not get it slid back so we can move it further back on the trailer.

I have to buy a new battery and a tire, hopefully, that will be all I need.
