05 minute freewrite 2436 prompt so very nervous and 2437 early departure

A couple of days ago I tore my toenail almost all of the way off, it is only connected by a small area on the bottom right side. Yesterday I tried to wash the dried blood from it but I could not touch it. It even makes me sick to my stomach to look at it so I left it alone. I know I need to go to a doctor and have it removed but I am so very nervous to do this while it is so sore.

The first day I did this, it throbbed most of the night but sometime around 2am it stopped throbbing and I was able to get some sleep. Yesterday it only hurt when I walked, but when I woke this morning, I had pain in it but it is not unbearable. I decided to soak it in warm Epsom salt water and was able to get most of the dried blood off of it and I think it helped with some of the pain.

I will go to a doctor and get it removed but I want to wait until it is not so sore. It makes my stomach turn to think about them giving me a shot to numb it as sore as it is. I just need to be very careful and not catch it on anything.

My husband wanted to try another camping trip, the last one lasted one night, but this time he was going to go to Lake Kissimmee State Park. he might still get lonely but maybe not as bored since there will be a lake to fish in. He was going to have an early departure and leave last Monday but the infection in his thumb looked worse so he went back to the doctor and now he is back on antibiotics that you can not be in the sun while taking, so now I do not know when he will be going.

It seems as if we are having a streak of bad luck, I hope when this streak is over, we get a streak of good luck to make up for all that we are going through right now because I do not think I can take much more.
