Thoughts with the Rain

It has now been two weeks of continuous rain.
I love the rainy season.
Thats why I try to embrace the dampness and gloom that come along with it.

Its someones most beautiful trait...
But no matter how much you want it,
You cant have it without its flaws

Just like in U Sais song.
Isnt everything in life a mix of good and bad?
If I truly love the rainy season, then I must accept that my clothes wont dry,
That the streets will flood with puddles and mud,
That I might catch a cold, cough, or headache.
These are just the side effects
The price of loving the rain.

And in the same way
If I fall in love with her,
I must accept the days shes not in the mood,
Her picky eating habits,
Her being too busy with work to answer my calls
And even the times she vents and talks endlessly.
Ill need patience.
Because these, too, are the side effects
The little extras that come with loving her.
