My Cats Story

I love cats. However, I wasn't someone who grew up closely with cats since childhood. Occasionally, when I saw cats, I would just pick them up and pet them. At my home, my parents never raised cats, and I myself never urged them to get one.

My Big Cat (Female)

I love pets. They are the best companions who can intimately befriend humans. I have a girl friend who loves cats very much. She adores the little cat she raises at her home. Sometimes she plays with the cat. Sometimes she talks to the cat. Sometimes she pets the cat and puts it to sleep. One day, when that cat she loved so much passed away, she was so sad she cried for seven straight days. That's how much she loved cats. Back then, I didn't really pay much attention to the love between cats and humans. I used to think that animals aren't like humans, so there's no need to be too attached to them or make a big deal out of them.

I came to realize that my thoughts were wrong. After 2020, I quit my job as a Housekeeping and started spending more time at home. Around this time, my mother started raising two kittens at our house. So, I, who already loved kittens, began to bond with them. Of those two kittens, the female was fierce, and the male was calm and gentle. The female kitten would scratch with her claws when she was upset. My niece named her "Nyo Pain" (meaning "Painful Scratch"). One day, the female cat gave birth to kittens. Strangely, I noticed that this female cat would attack and chase away the male cat from the house. Every time the male cat tried to come back, the female cat would drive him away, so he never returned. I couldn't figure out why. I think she chased the male cat away because she was afraid he might hurt her kittens.

Now, at my home, there are three adult cats, and all of them are afraid of the big female cat, "Nyo Pain." Nyo Pain also fights with the dogs in the neighborhood. If any dogs from the surrounding area enter what she considers her territory, she attacks them fiercely. Now, the big female cat "Nyo Pain" is over 5 years old, and she has given birth to another 4 kittens.

Through experiencing firsthand that animals also possess emotions and behaviors similar to humans such as a mother's love and the establishment of their own territory I have come to value them even more.
