An Evening Walk After the Rain

avatar

After over a week of continuous rain, I finally feel the clear blue sky and warm sunshine again. Everything in the world is happening in its own way. When we were young, we lived in peace for over 10 years. Sometimes, I have to shake my head because I subconsciously want to accept that not knowing the truth is also peaceful.

What am I thinking? Look at the environment you live in now. Appreciate these things while you can see them. Enjoy them. Share them. I keep telling myself that. Not everyone can see these things, the beauty that nature has given us in the environment we live in.

This evening, after finishing my work, I went for a walk around the neighborhood.

The sun was setting. Behind the green wildflowers, there was a large green field. Behind that, there were huge mountains lying quietly. On those mountains, the clouds were resting. What natural beauty. I could truly feel it.

As I kept walking, I saw what we call "Chinese flowers" blooming on the side of the road. I inhaled their fragrance, it was so strong and sweet. I felt my mind become refreshed.

When I got home, I looked at the small fish tank in my backyard. I think the fish became more active when they saw me. I liked the yellow one the most, but I didn't dare to touch it. Instead, I held the orange and golden one. When I put it in my hand, it moved, it felt so soft.

Then I felt something watching me from under the flowers near the fish pond. It was my little one, my cat. I called him, and he ran away! I had to try really hard to take a photo of him. Finally, I caught him sitting quietly on the logs, so I was able to get a good shot. I patted his head and told him Id give him a snack later. He replied, Muan.
