A Short Story For 37 Dennis

Dennis is miserable in an old house. He is 30 years old. At this age of 30, he should own a house or an apartment. And he should be able to start a happy family. Dennis's girlfriend refuses to marry him because he has no stable business. What's worse, she wants to break up with him, and she often blames him for his baldness and dark skin. His friends his age are doing well at this time. He let out a sigh. Dennis walked away, feeling disappointed, thinking about his current situation.

Dennis met his friend on the street and his friend was very friendly. His friend was now working as a manager in a company. He told him that he had just married a girl last month and that she was from a rich family. He could see the happiness on Dennis's friend's face. He then walked to a forest far from any houses. Dennis felt as if the quiet forest was mocking him. Dennis became angry. He shouted his grievances. His angry and dissatisfied voices echoed. Then he shouted again and again. Then he stopped shouting because he was tired and rested.

"Little man," Dennis heard a voice say, and looked at the man who had come to his side. The old man was neatly dressed. Dennis noticed that the old man's face was full of confidence and energy. The old man continued.

"You look like you're tired of life. What's wrong with you?

"I have a lot. My life is very boring. I have no money. I have no relatives. I have no home of my own at the age of 30. If that's the case, I'm already a useless person."

The old man laughed heartily when he heard Dennis's words. Dennis looked at the old man incomprehensibly. Just as he was wondering if this old man knew his life and was making fun of him, the old man stopped laughing and said something serious.

Dennis' eyes lit up when he heard the old man's words. He immediately replied that he really wanted to know. So the old man continued.

But they easily fall when they encounter strong winds. In other words, bamboo are easy to succeed. But they easily fail when they encounter strong storm. Do you see a big tree not far from those bamboo? That big tree is at least 15 years old. Such a big tree does not become so easy to become. The first tree sprouts. But the tree does not try to grow up right away. The tree first digs its roots deep into the earth, making it strong. At this time, the bamboo trees are growing up higher than the tree. This young tree does not pay attention to this. Slowly and steadily, it does its best to take root deep into the earth. It does not pay attention to anything else, it just keeps doing that. Finally, this young tree becomes big and strong like this "It became a big tree. Even though it faced a hurricane, this big tree did not fall down. Now this big tree is a place where all kinds of birds and animals can take shelter. If you want to be successful, you should take this big tree as an example. The main thing is to continue doing what you believe in."

Hearing this old man's words, Dennis gained strength. He thanked the old man. He promised that he would try to succeed. From that day on, he continued to work hard for what he believed in. At one point, he became a successful sales manager. Every famous company wanted Dennis. As he became famous, he was attacked by his competitors, but he did not fail. Because he had to overcome difficulties and keep trying to succeed. That's why no one could make Dennis fail.
