Yep. There are several similar views around the sound. This one happens to be at the Herron Island ferry dock.
That is a beautiful area. When I was there as a much younger person I didn't appreciate it the way I should have. Kind of felt like I was taken out of civilization and just plunked into the middle of nowhere like I was being exiled or punished.
Yeah, getting to some of these areas can be a pain traffic wise but once you are there solitude can be had if desired.
